Vivaflow 50 Crossflow
Single-use Vivaflow 50 is ready to use without the need for a regeneration step. It is an economical and convenient choice for the concentration and buffer exchange of proteins, viruses, and nanoparticles.
Vivaflow® 50 is a single-use, ready-to-use crossflow cassette for the filtration and concentration of samples from 100 mL to 3 L. The membrane surface area per device is 50 cm². Each pack contains two devices and comes with all accessories required to operate two devices with a laboratory pump and a size 16 pump head. To speed up concentration and increase volume throughput, up to six cassettes can be connected.

For cell culture supernatant concentration, virus concentration, and water sample concentration, for example in fish farming facilities, this economical product offers an unmatched standard of ease of use, reliability, and flexibility compared with any laboratory filtration system on the market.
The modules’ thin-channel, reverse-flow recirculation path provides high crossflow rates with minimal pump speed requirements. A single 50 cm² module typically reduces 500 mL to 15 mL in less than 50 minutes. Nearly complete recovery of the concentrate is achieved with a single rinse.
For easy scale-up, up to six unique locking modules can be connected, resulting in a capacity of several liters. Vivaflow® 50 is single-use. All accessories for sample concentration are included in the package, except for the peristaltic pump with a size 16 pump head.
For fast and convenient buffer exchange, a closed 500 mL diafiltration reservoir can be added to the system.
