The Microsart® e.jet laboratory vacuum pump is designed to generate sufficient vacuum for filtration and, unlike conventional vacuum pumps, enables the filtered liquid to be transferred to waste at the same time. The Microsart® e.jet Transfer Pump is ideal for sample filtration in microbiology, achieving a transmembrane pressure below 700 mbar in accordance with ISO 8199, Water quality — General guidance on the enumeration of microorganisms by culture.
Constant flow rates and a defined maximum vacuum guarantee smooth and reliable filtration. The Microsart® e.jet Transfer Pump greatly reduces operational complexity and is an ideal accessory for 3-branch and 1-branch manifolds. Microsart® e.jet is designed to pump both gases and liquids, meaning there is no loss of efficiency or malfunction caused by water being drawn into the pump head.
The Microsart® maxi.vac and Microsart® mini.vac vacuum pump series provide modern technology for daily use in microbiology laboratory environments. They are electric neoprene membrane pumps and therefore require no oil or maintenance while offering a low noise level. The vacuum generated by these pumps is controlled and can be easily adjusted according to your requirements. As a result, sensitive cells, such as bacteria, are concentrated on the surface of a membrane filter under better conditions, resulting in reduced cell mortality, higher recovery rates, and shorter incubation times.
