Sartobind® S Mini
The new Sartobind® S Mini provides 10 or 20 mL membrane volumes, making scale-up easier for bioprocess customers and offering an excellent fit for the production of diagnostic products. Sartobind® Mini is directly scalable to the existing Sartobind® portfolio, from process development through commercial manufacturing.

Sartobind® membrane adsorbers (MAs) for ion exchange chromatography are ready-to-use syringe-filter-type units. All are based on the patented Sartobind® membrane, which features a microporous structure with a pore size of 3 µm.
Ion exchange ligands are covalently attached to the entire internal membrane surface, resulting in a separation medium with high binding capacity combined with very high flow rates.
The attachment of ion exchange ligands is highly stable and allows numerous reuse cycles without loss of binding capacity.
Sartobind® MA units for ion exchange are available as strong or weak anion exchangers (Q and D) and as strong cation exchangers (S). They are offered in three sizes, with membrane areas ranging from 15 cm² to 100 cm², corresponding to static binding capacities from 12 mg to 80 mg.
Units with polysulfone housings are compatible with many solvents commonly used in chromatographic applications.
