MEP HyperCel is a versatile mixed-mode chromatography resin designed for the capture and purification of antibodies and various recombinant proteins, from laboratory scale through manufacturing scale.
MEP HyperCel resin provides a low-salt or salt-free alternative to traditional Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC). By eliminating the need for salt addition and reducing downstream UF/DF (Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration) steps, it can simplify processes and improve process economics.
The MEP ligand is immunoglobulin-selective. As a result, MEP HyperCel can be effectively used for IgG capture and enhanced removal of DNA, HCPs, and aggregates. Elution is performed under mild conditions.
