These filters are mainly used for air and gas monitoring or as prefilters. They are manufactured with synthetic binders to provide the filter with a specific level of strength. They are mechanically and chemically stable, resistant to temperatures up to 180°C, and, depending on the binder used, hydrophobic or hydrophilic.
