Centrisart® I

Centrisart® I can be used in fixed-angle or swing-bucket rotors that accept standard 15 mL tubes. Ultrafiltration of 90% of the original sample volume is typically completed in approximately 30 minutes. The ultrafiltrate is collected in the floating insert tube, where it can be easily accessed without removing the tube.

Centrisart® I is a ready-to-use unit for small-volume centrifugal ultrafiltration, used to separate proteins in biological samples from low molecular weight substances.

Centrisart® I features a unique design: ultrafiltration in the opposite direction of centrifugal force.

This is so effective in preventing premature filter clogging that even whole blood samples can be deproteinized.
