Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media
Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media are culture media ampoules for the microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, water, and other liquids. The media ampoules are ready to use, and each box contains 50 ampoules, each with 2.5 ml of sterile nutrient medium and a lot-specific certificate. The nutrient medium complies with international regulations and recommendations and replaces the use of glass ampoules.

Biosart® 100 Monitors are specifically designed for microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, water, and other liquids. These sterile monitors with an integrated membrane filter and cellulose pad are ready to use. To wet the pad, Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media is available in convenient, individually sterilized plastic ampoules.
Each box of Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media contains 50 ampoules, each with 2.5 ml of sterile medium and a lot certificate. When stored under appropriate conditions, at 4°C, the culture medium has a shelf life of 12 months, except for Endo, KF Strep, Lauryl Sulfate, and Tergitol, which have a shelf life of 9 months.
Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media complies with international regulations and recommendations: international pharmacopoeias, DIN and ISO standards, American standards for water and food, mineral water regulations, and guidelines of the food and beverage industries.
As part of the quality assurance procedure and strict quality control standards, each batch undergoes Sartorius in-house testing for growth promotion and sterility. The tests also include physical and technical parameters. Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media is easy to use and eliminates the need to use glass ampoules.
