Sartorius offers the compact ultrapure water series Arium® Mini, specifically designed for Type 1 water requirements of approximately 10 liters per day. With the capacity to dispense ultrapure water at 1 L/min and a width of only 28 cm, or 11 inches, this space-saving unit can be easily integrated into almost any laboratory environment.

Depending on your feed water, you can choose from three different systems:

Standard Arium® Mini

The standard version of Arium® Mini is independent of a permanently installed water tap. Pretreated water is fed into the system from a container via the integrated pump and stored in the Arium® Bag for further processing. The water stored in this way then serves as feed water for the production of ultrapure water.

Arium® Mini Plus

Arium® Mini Plus can be connected directly to a feed water tap. In this system, water is treated with a pretreatment cartridge before being safely stored in the system’s integrated bag. The final production of ultrapure water is then carried out using a specially developed ion-exchange purification cartridge.

Arium® Mini Essential

Arium® Mini Essential can be connected directly to a centralized or decentralized feed water source, such as DI/RO/EDI. Since this direct connection eliminates the need to store pretreated water, the system does not require an internal storage option. The system produces ultrapure water directly from the supplied water.

For analytical and especially critical applications such as HPLC/UHPLC, all Arium® Mini systems can optionally be equipped with an integrated UV lamp, 185/254 nm. This enables the reliable production of ultrapure water that is virtually free of organic components.
